I little rain and a whole lotta love. There couldn’t have been a more spectacular place to take your wedding vows in Comox- a sandy bluff overlooking Baynes Sound with spectacular views of the Gulf Islands. A few rain drops made for some colorful umbrella shots and it wasn’t long till the sun was shining. We headed to the Filberg for more pictures. I had a fantastic time photographing the lovely bride and groom and their wedding party were really fun and adventurous. The best jumping action ever!

Nathan & Janna | Lantzville Wedding | Nanaimo Wedding Photographer

I had an awesome time photographing Janna and Nathan’s wedding just a few blocks from my home in Lantzville. Turns out I graduated high school with Nathan’s sister, so it was really great to see a familiar face. The wedding went off without a hitch, was fun, sunny and Nathan and Janna are absolutely perfect for each other. Nathan, being a hockey player and a creative type (http://www.reimereason.com), thought it would be fun for the wedding party to have a hockey faceoff. It was a close game, but when the final buzzer sounded, The Bride’s Maids had won the match. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard during a photo shoot!

Matt & Sarah | Canada Day | Gulf Island Wedding | Pender Island Wedding Photography

Only back in the country a week and I had the pleasure of shooting my first Canadian wedding in over 4 years on Canada Day! One of my dearest friends, Matthew Erickson tied the knot with the beautiful and stunning Sarah Innis. It was a gorgeous day, amazing location and one of the most heart-felt celebrations I’ve ever been too. Matt’s daughter, Ainsley, was an absolute angel. And it was only when Sarah was in the boat, coming over to the floating dock, that the rain stopped and the sun came bursting through! Love you three forever and ever! ♥ ♥ ♥
